You get what you pay for I guess. This product gave me very inconsistent readings on lots of batteries, both used and brand new. I'd test it once, and it would say 1/2 empty and then a few minutes later the same battery would say full. I just sent it back to get a refund. I'm considering getting the Mini-Multi Battery Tester instead.Customer Review: Love it

Very useful, especially for the price. We gave these as gifts and everyone loved them because they're so practical. Excellent tester. I have used it to test bulbs, and my rechargable batteries which really comes in handy to know when they need to be recharged.
This tester works really well on all batteries, bulbs and fuses.

Great little meter for the money but still can't figure out how to test button batteries which it says it will do. Compared prices for this product and found the best deal here at Amazon than any retail outlet, catelog, or novelty item anywhere. With an added bonus of bulb testing capabilty I got more than I had anticipated.
