I bought this sensor with the trust it would work 900 ft. from base.
It did not work 600 I moved it to 400 then 200 ft. and it did not work. there was nothing blocking from sensor to base but a window and when I got the sensor in the house it worked .(that was about 30 ft)

We are in a very dark isolated area and this makes our life a little more comfortable. Had a little trouble setting it up so
it would work properly, but once it was angled right it works
very well. We bought after seeing how well my brother's worked after 8 yrs.

I am returning this replacement sensor today. It does not have the transmission range of the original sensor, and it will not trigger outside of the sensor test mode -- sensor test button pressed. Do not waste any of your life on this time vampire. It does not work.Customer Review: Very good product

This is a reliable item. We have a long driveway and live in the country. No unexpected company, now. Very few false alarms, birds, and once a spider....We have three sensors at this time, on one moniter. I am seriously thinking about buying one system for my son.Customer Review: Sensor review

The device does not perform as indicated. Main purpose was to use it as a driveway alarm. Device was installed following manufactures instructions. It does not sense a car traveling faster than someone can wall. If does detect someone walking without a problem.
