We could not hear the front door bell chime at the back end of the house on the first floor and in some of the rooms on the second floor. I installed the Extend A Bell transmitter and two recievers and we can now hear the front door bell throughout our house. The transmitter is easy to install following the easy to understand instructions. The receivers just plug into any electrical wall plug. We are very happy with the system and it works well.
