Tools and Hardware Reviews of TRC 90511Flatplug Ultra Thin Profile 3-Wire Cord 6-Foot-16/2-Inch, WhiteCustomer Review: All products should come with cords this thin! Summary: 5 Stars
Exactly what we were looking for. We purchased an electric fireplace that came with a cord that stuck out a good 3 inches. This caused the unit to not sit flush against the wall and it looked out of place. This sits perfectly flush with the baseboards. Seems to be high quality also.
I would recommend this product for anyone that needs a cord to sit flush against the wall.
Customer Review: Stick it where the sun don't shine! Summary: 5 Stars
Like behind a really big bookshelf or CD rack so you don't have to go through the hassle of moving the outlet or just abandoning it alltogether. I love these things and have several deployed around the house. Also, it's just plain great to not have plugs sticking out of the wall so that kids don't bonk into them and unplug things accidentally. Brilliantly simple invention!
Customer Review: Awesome product Summary: 5 Stars
This product is so useful. The flat head is just what I needed. It's a mixture of the flat head and the cord coming from the bottom (instead of away from the wall) that makes it so much easier to fit in. It supports grounded (3-pronged) plugs and leads to a little bar with three plugins. Useful as extension cord or simply when you need to plug stuff in behind furniture.
Customer Review: Love it! Why don't more extension cords or plugs have this shape? Summary: 5 Stars
Low profile fits behind our bookshelves, which are set away from the wall with the distance of the baseboard. Also don't have to worry about bumping into it and bending the prongs. Also like that it's off-set so you can plug in other things on the bottom. Be sure to get this one that has the 3rd ground plug rather than the cheaper one without the ground plug.
Customer Review: Thinnest of all Summary: 4 Stars
I got this along with a Coleman and a Slimline to see which I liked best. This one was the thinnest of all, at .44" (compared to as thick as .61" for the Coleman). I like the flip-out handle.
The only way to improve on this product would be to take Coleman's example and mold the outlet housing from hard rubber instead of a lighter plastic shell.
