This is a great product to cap your cat5 cables. I make cables everyday and you will like the speed of this tool as an all in 1 item. I go through usually 1 a year. Keep in mind that I use this tool ALOT! This tool should never cost you over $20.00. You will like the sturdy structure of this tool.

This product not only met my expectations, but exceeded them. Buying a 10' cable would have cost me $10, now with the cable I already had, and some ends I also bought, I have been able to make them so easy.
Shipping was very fast, had it about 3 days after I ordered it. Very happy with the purchace.

I bought this crimper to use in replacing the RJ45 plugs on ethernet cables that lose their plastic retaining clip. When the cable slips out of its housing, it drives me nuts. I've used the crimper to fix one 14 foot cable, and based on the cost of a new 14 foot cable, the crimper has already paid for itself.Customer Review: Easy to use. Nice stripper, cutter, crimper.

It can strip, cut, and of course crimp. It can crimp both RJ45 and RJ11 connectors, but the stripping blade is set for cat5e cable size. This is fine as most people use it for network cable. A solid, nice, handy tool. I bought Remee cat5e bulk cable from ebay for home networking, cheap and high quality.Customer Review: Strippers a little tricky to use, but crimps right the first time

I've only made about 30 connections with this tool so far, but can say that the crimp portion of it works VERY well and very reliably - so far, not one bum crimp! The stripping tool is a little tricky to use, however; I frequently find myself chewing up the conductors inside when I use it.
