Customer Review: Uncomfortable and too small for me, 5' 9", 140lbs.

I bought two cushions because of the high reviews. Although I didn't have any back pain, I wanted a cushion to help me sit higher at my desk. I'm not sure if there's a secret to how you're supposed to sit on the cushion, but almost immediately I felt discomfort in my knees, similar to when I sit in a movie theater chair for a long time. I tried the cushion in my car, but it didn't fit the seat properly and made for a slightly uncomfortable ride.
The construction seems to be pretty good, but a larger cushion with a softer seat would probably be more comfortable. The cushion is made with a hard flat foam which could be problematic fitting on a contoured seat, however, it would probably be alright for sitting on a wooden or concrete bench.
If you have back pains and think this might help, give it a try. If you're looking for a seat cushion for your office chair or car, try something else.

This is a wonderful product for those who suffer from back-related pain. My leg was going numb, and I would be in severe pain after driving or working on my computer. I tried the Tush-Cush first on my computer chair - where it remains. Next I bought an additional one for the hour+ daily commute. After seeing what a big difference it made, I bought an extra firm one for my husband, who drives commercial truck for a living. He always uses it when he drives and says it has made a noticeable difference in his back and leg pain. These are well made by the well known Tush Cush company (I bought their saddle cushions for horseback riding years ago) and at $32 plus shipping, a pretty cheap price for pain relief. Might not work for everyone, but I am extremely pleased with MY pain relief and I feel strongly enough that this product works that I sent my mother one. I injured my tailbone river rafting and for about a month after I was still in horrible pain. I sit at work and my commute is about an hour each way. I'd be in tears by the time I got to work and unable to function by the time I got home. I ordered this and it arrived quickly (thanks to the seller) and within the first few days of using it in the car and at work I was so much better. The pain lessened with each passing day and my tailbone was able to heal since the Tush Cush removed the pressure and pain of sitting. I tried a blow up donut but that had not given me any relief. I work on my laptop in Starbucks, other coffee shops and in public libraries a lot. I developed a case of "Study-butt" over the past three months of intense work. Bought this Car Cush on Amazon. What a relief! Amazingly comfortable, and just the right level of firmness, for me at least. Took all the pressure off my tailbone, and cough cough, related areas and gave that promised "tilt" so that I sit more upright. I felt a bit goofy walking into Starbucks with this the first few times, but got over that - no one seemed to care. I'd highly recommend this as a gift for anyone doing the cafe/office thing.Customer Review: Relief for your aching back!

I tried out one of these in a relative's vehicle and decided I HAD to have one. Most seats tilt back, which is really bad for the lumbar region. I had tried all sorts of cushions to even out the height. to no avail. Got one of these and my back problems disappeared on long trips. (I use mine all of the time in my vehicle.) No more backaches from driving with this handy cushion. Haven't taken it on plane trips, but I might try that on the next long trip (I do recommend putting a luggage tag on the bottom -- you won't want to misplace this once you own it!).
