Tools and Hardware Reviews of Terro 300 Pre-Filled Liquid Ant Killer II Baits, 6-PackCustomer Review: All I can say is impressive!!! Summary: 5 StarsDuring this winter, we have ants all over the house. It is quite frustrating because the more you kill, the more they came back. After reading all the good reviews here, I've decided to give this product for a try and I was impressed. After putting it out for a few minutes, the ants took the bait by force. After 4 hours, they came by wave. After one full day, they were almost wiped out. I wish that I've known product earlier. I wish they have similar product for mouse.
Customer Review: kills wave after wave Summary: 5 StarsThis stuff works. Active ingredient Borax is the same Borax that some people might use to clean their bathtubs, so it is relatively safe. Just don't go eating the stuff and you should be fine. Kills wave after wave of ants as the queen hatches more, without spraying harmful chemicals in your house. Only drawback is that as ants die, they might accumulate in certain areas. Highly recommended.
Customer Review: This stuff works! Summary: 5 StarsI cannot believe I battled ants in my home for two weeks using countless sprays. After reading these reviews, I went out and bought a couple boxes of Terro. Within two days my ants were gone! Don't waste time and try these first.
Customer Review: IT WORKS ... AND FAST! Summary: 5 StarsThis is the first product review I have ever taken the time to post, but I feel obligated since the product worked so well. I had hundreds (probably more like thousands) of little black ants coming in to my house from all over (wall outlets, ceiling etc.). I placed a bait in each of the ant trails. Within 1/2 hour there were thick streams of ants going to and from each of the baits. After only 1 DAY there were no more ants! The best part is that they didn't even die on the floor. They all take the bait back to their home and die there (no mess for me). I left the traps out for a few more days just in case, but did not see any more ants. It has now been 2 weeks since I have seen an ant in my house. This stuff is amazing. If you have ants, you understand why I am so excited to be rid of them.
Customer Review: TERRO really works where others fail! Summary: 5 StarsOur house was being invaded by masses of black ants. We'd spray and they'd be gone for a little while, but seemingly within minutes they'd reappear and swarm over our kitchen, in our bathrooms, and even over the floors! We tried Raid ant bait, and when that failed we tried another (black flag?). Both baits claimed to be "irresistible" to the little buggers. Yeah right. The ants never touched any of the other baits.
I found out about Terro on Amazon.com, and struck by all the good reviews and seeing as how I was just wasting my money on other solutions, decided to give Terro a try.
I set out the first bait in my kitchen in the afternoon. Nothing happened all evening. We were starting to have doubts when a scout ant inspected the Terro briefly and continued onward. We left the bait there overnight. The next morning, I inspected the bait again before I left for work... still nothing :( "Oh well, at least it wasn't too expensive".
That day at work, my wife called to tell me the ants were all over the bait! They came out in such numbers and went after the Terro with such enthusiasm that we kinda regretted putting the bait somewhere so visible. But I was happy to see ants finally taking bait. The absolutely loved the stuff. Ants piled up to get a mouthful of the solution and many were pushed into the tray by those behind them and drowned in the solution!
Fortunately, it seems enough of them managed to get back to their nest. In about 3 days we noticed a considerable drop in the number of ants we saw around the house. At this point we changed baits (the one we set out was all filled with dead ants) and set two out instead of one (The instructions recommend setting all the baits out at once).
Within about a week, our ant problem was effectively under control. We still keep a can of spray handy, and occasionally see a lone scout ant which we squish on sight. I highly recommend Terro to anybody with an ant problem. Other baits are junk. Terro works!
