I loved my lotus sanitizer for cleaning my veggies and my counter tops, so I knew this would be a great product. For three years I've been using a Swiffer and spending way too much money for the chemicals and disposable cleaning pads. This mop seems very well made. The things I like best about it is how it gets lots of water on the floor. And since the water is free, it doesn't matter. I thought I would miss the disposable cleaning pads, but to be honest, I like the micro-cloth much better. It seems to clean much better and it's easy as a dish rag to wash out when I'm finished. My only complaint would be the mop is a little heavier and harder to move around than my Swiffer. I know this mop will be a big money saver for our family. This is why I gave the product a three star even tho I never got to use it...
I was excited about the Lotus water-sanitizer and the mop! Problem is, I never was able to get the Tersano "base" to charge the water to 100%. I learned from Tersano customer assistance that my water might be too contaminated for the base to fully oxygenate the water, I needed to try bottled water. I didn't even try the bottled water, I bought it because I wanted to use the tap water. A fact which seems to be one of the major selling points. After reading more of the reviews, I see that I'm not the only one with the "contaminated water" issue. I wouldn't NOT recommend any of the Tersano products, just hold onto the boxes, you might need to ship it back.

This mop is very well designed. However, I didn't give it 5 stars because the battery compartment is not laid out well. Just about every battery powered device ever created has you install the batteries with the negative terminal end against the metal spring contacts in the battery compartment. This mop has all the spring contacts on one end of the compartment and you then alternate the batteries. Just a little weird. Other than this, it is a pretty solid mop. It is hard to push across vinyl flooring as the water doesn't provide much lubricant if you are simply using O3 water from the sanitizer. The floor does look brighter and is squeaky clean. The microfiber cloths fit well and are easy to install.Customer Review: Simply the best mop ever!

Microfiber instead of disposable 'diapers', easy to fill non-disposable bottle and just a piece of art when it comes to design and functionality! Move over Swiffer, I'm not going to keep buying your chemicals because only your bottle fits my mop. Not only that, but with this mop I don't have to keep buying disposable pads and adding to my garbage every time I mop my floors. The lotus mop has a refillable bottle and an amazing washable microfiber cloth that fits the system! And, the best part, if you own the lotus Sanitizing System, the removable bottle fits on that base so you can charge the water and get a floor cleaning/sanitizing system that is out of this world....I'm one happy lotus'er!Customer Review: Do not buy this product

We bought this mop in May of 2009. On its second use, water started to spill out of where the vessel and mop should create a seal when the mop was tilted to start cleaning the floor. I called up Tersano and requested a refund. They talked me into sending it back for free and getting a new mop. The new mop started to do the exact same thing on its first use. Again I called and requested a refund and again I was talked into sending it back free of charge for a new mop. The new mop actually worked on three seperate uses before again, splling water all over my floor. Tersano will issue a refund but I have to pay for the return shipping. Love their sanitizing system...don't like the mop.
