It is a little concerning how much warning you get on the instructions about this items toxic nature and how it destroys all marine life. This item is definitely not something that you want around your kids nor should it be placed around your pets. I live in a rural area that is a mosquito abatement zone, which is the reason that I bought this product. It works if it is about 5 feet from you but not any further than that. The product puts off a pretty powerful chemical smell so be prepared for that. Overall it does what it says it can do just does not have the range that it advertises.
