Overall, I like using the Space Bags. They are especially useful when packing heavy jackets. However, I have encountered several problems. First, one of the zippers broke off. Then, I had one stolen from my hotel room in Europe. I was using it as a shelf liner and placed my shirts on top of it.. I came back and it was gone. I'm not quite sure exactly why a maid would chose to steal a space bag but whatever. I also would advice against putting them in a garage or attic. Rats chewed ours up to make a nice comfortable, waterproof, dust proof, and dirt proof space for themselves. On the other hand, maybe they were trying to make a miniature version of the bag to sell to all their rat friends.Customer Review: They Work

Soon I'll be moving across country with very limited luggage space and I need something that will allow me the most bang for my buck. These bags do work, but you have to get used to how to use them properly. Its very important to follow the directions precisely. It is possible to flatten the bag out after you've rolled the air out, without loosing the seal--but you should be careful. I'm going to try the regular Space Bags as well to see which model is better. These do work, but they require patience (it might take a while to roll all the air out) and practice to get it just right.Customer Review: HORRIBLE

I'm sure these would work.. if they were made of something thiker than tracing paper. I was going to college, and bought a few of these so I could get more in my car. the first 2 i took out of the packaging already had rips in them, which after much duct tape, it held the vacuum seal long enough to pack them, but by the time i opened my trunk, then litterally sprang out of my trunk. the rest of them broke in the move. I mean... regular ziplock bags would work better than these. If they were made out of thicker plastic, they'd be great... but the way they are, they wont work!Customer Review: Hard to use

I bought some of the ones where you squeeze the air out and you don't have to use a vacuum. What a joke. The instructions said to roll it to squeeze the air out. I spent about 25 minutes trying that and basically put my sweater into a ball at the end of the roll that wouldn't lie flat. I never did get all of the air out of the bag either. I bought four bags and tried all four with the same slow compression. I will be returning them tomorrow. I think I'll just try a regular garbage bag, it's the same concept.Customer Review: Better than the full size bags anyway...

I got a couple of these in combo packs with the vacuum versions of these. I'm not a big fan of the regular ones (they rip, leak, and the zippers fall off), but these travel ones are actually pretty cool. Mine are heavier than the regular size ones, so maybe that has changes (see other review). I admit, you could accomplish about the same thing with zip-locks, but these stay in my suitcase, and get re-used. I probably would not order them, but they were a nice bonus in the combo pack, and I do use them.
