Customer Review: Great Product, Deceptive Marketing

This is an excellent product, but marketing it as giving a reach up to 11 feet is deceptive, something I had already figured when I ordered it since it just didn't appear that long in the photos. It's perfectly adequate for my purposes, but the total length when assembled with the extension boom to my Troybilt TB590BC trimmer/brush cutter is 8 feet from the tip of the saw to the butt end of the motor. Since the attachment can be assembled with other machines which have EZ-Link attachment capability, you should know it measures 5 feet from the tip of the EZ-Link of my machine to the tip of the saw with the extension boom in place. If one wanted more reach, one could conceivably go to the parts list that comes with this attachment and order another extension boom assembly to give yourself another 2 feet of reach, but the instructions clearly state to never use more than one extension boom and I imagine using more would likely void the warranty.
That being said, the product assembles easily to my trimmer/brush cutter and works excellently.
