It's very handy and slim enough to put on your dresser for easy acess. It keeps your necklaces tangle-free no matter how many necklaces you hang on the hook; believe me, I'd know. I have way too many. So if you have more necklaces than hooks, don't worry about it. You lift it to get to your necklaces, which I thought was pretty easy. It looks very neat when all the necklaces are inside, no matter how many different ones you have. The length is a little short for longer necklaces, but doubling the chain works perfectly for most. Unfortunately the plastic wasn't sturdy enough, as mine got knocked off the dresser and broke. But, I am happy to buy another one as it's a great price and a great investment. When I bought an expensive strand of pearls, the salesclerk advised me to store them by hanging them up. "On what?" I asked. "Well, I don't know," was her response. "We don't carry that sort of thing." I searched for years before finding this item. It's been a godsend, not just for pearls, but for all my necklaces and pendants. Even though I hang more than one on each prong, they don't really get tangled - not like they used to when they were lyning together in a box! It's a little too tacky looking for 5 stars, but is otherwise fantastic!Customer Review: Good product BUT packaging while shipping poor as one cracked!

I ordered two of these for my wife and I have to say the product is excellent and my wife was pleased with it. One of the items was however cracked and could not be used so I had to reorder another for her as she liked it a lot. She did say she would have preferred if the arm could have turned allowing one to see the necklaces easily. Also it is a bit of a bother to have to physically lift the holder out each time to get the necklaces but it looks stylish and generally does the job she wants it to!Customer Review: Not what you always wanted, but will do until something better comes along:

I've been using this for more than 6 months and have learned how to live with it to the extent that I will probably buy another one. It is not a crousel. There are no hinged doors. One must lift the top, take the necklace, and re-fit the top. The fewer the necklaces the easier the process. Consequently, this is not the answer to your necklace storage dreams. However, I think that two of these might be useful, and the organizer is attractive enough for most dressing tables.Customer Review: Good for some, not all.

I love this thing because it was exactly what I was looking for. It's good for the necklaces that are not too chunky and not too long. I have few that are chunky and took over too much space and those that are too long, I had to wrapped them around two or three times for them to fit. If majority of your necklaces are a simple and in average length, this is a good organizer. If your collection are mostly longer or chunkier ones, this may not be the best.
