Customer Review: Absolutely love them!

I posted 2 pictures above of the shelves on my wall (4 shelves). I purchased 2 of these and 2 of the Large ones. According to the packaging you can stack books 16 inches high and up to 15 lbs on this shelf and 20 lbs with no height limit on the large. I stacked enough books to reach the 16 inch height limit and had only hit about 9 lbs on weight. When it comes to the larger one I will tell you that there is a minimum book depth requirement of 7.5 inches. I have a lot of hard cover books, but only 1 that was deep enough to use so I had to borrow one of my children's books for the time being. Another point to make is that they MUST be screwed into a stud in your wall. Do not try to skip this and just put them anywhere.
Definitely worth getting and I'm ordering more right now. I love them and they are original, something different to decorate with. I have one set up as my Library book shelf. LOVE IT!

i bought some of these for my apartment and my extensive collection of art/art education books. you can only fit books that are 6-7" long on here (like an inch or two off of the edge of the left and right sides of the shelf) before it wobbles. i think it would've been smarter to invest in the extra large sizes. then again, most of my books are very tall, so this probably wasn't too smart of a move to begin with.

if you have short, stubby books this is a good buy to stack a few on the wall.

very nice display for objects on top of the books

can't hold more than 4 or 5 medium sized books

I got 4 large and 4 small ones altogether. And if you know how to drill, then it'd be a piece of cake to put/mount it onto the wall.
I put a few up in my small living room next to my TV and a IKEA wall-shelf. It looks great and it does hold up a lot. But how much does it hold up? That also depends on your books.
One tip: To know when to stop piling more books on, use your hand and push down from the top a little bit. If it starts to shake and feels quite heavy, it is time to stop and leave it at that.

This thing is so simple you almost feel at first like maybe you spent too much money on it. After all, it is just a piece of metal bent precisely. But once you install it and put some books on it, you realize that it truly is ingenious. I purchased one for my son who sleeps on a top bunk. We installed it at the foot of his bed (takes just five minutes to install), and now he has somewhere to keep bedtime reading and his glasses at night, without having to get back up to put away his glasses. It really couldn't be simpler, sturdier, or easier to install. Fantastic.Customer Review: Worth the price!

We bought 2 of these "floating" bookshelves, to see how they worked. They seemed expensive for a simple piece of
metal, but we tried them. We ended up ordering 5 more! (My father-in-law wanted his own!) They add a whimsical touch to our den. All you really need is a stud finder and a drill. Everything else is included. They have been up for over a month and seem to have no intention of going anywhere. We found the regular or small shelf the perfect size for most hardcover books, but the large was a little tricky finding a book that was just the right size.
