I really do like these shelves. I love to read and have acquire lots of books over the years. The latest books I read are series books and I like to show those off, so I bought two of them. Very easy to install, just screw the bracket to the wall and voila! I was reading another review and I agree, the four stars are for the price. Its a metal bracket and a screw in a box, so why so much for shipping? I was going to order more, but I don't want to pay almost $7 to get a simple bracket shipped to me. especially when I didn't pay that the first two times.Customer Review: Awesome Awesome!

I bought one of these recently, and had to come back and buy two more after installing the first one!
We have plenty of books. Too many, some may say, and very little book shelf space.
These are perfect for getting some books out of their boxes and on display so you can show everyone what kind of brain you have.
The most complicated part is finding a stud in your wall that doesn't already have something else hanging up there, and possibly having to re-arrange a little bit of your art.

I bought two of these. They installed in a flash and look pretty much like the promo shots -- as though the books were floating in midair. The bottom book in the stack needs to be a good-sized hardcover (but not too big or else it sags). You can put anything you like on top of that. Once there, the books are not as conveniently accessed as on a normal bookshelf (and the bottom book is pretty much off-limits entirely).
As long as you are aware of these limitations before you buy, I think you'll be pleased.

I love the way this looks on the wall. It acts as storage space and decor for my books. Very easy to hang and looks just like the pictures. I was concerned about it not being able to hold the book weight, but it does a great job with the 4-5 thick books I stuck on it. I prefer the small sized one to the large ones as the large ones seem to require ridiculously large books to cover the bottom metal piece.
This is a great purchase. They're really awesome looking and are more sturdy than you would expect!

I saw these on an HGTV show and found them on Amazon. They work just like they're supposed to. I'm not good at installing ANYTHING and was able just to use a Phillips screwdriver and screw them into the drywall - no problem, no anchors needed. I was able to get about 10 books on each - a couple of hardbacks on the bottom, then mostly paperbacks. They are a bit pricey, but I recommend them if you need some extra book storage + a conversation starter. They look great.
