Customer Review: It's stupid to love a waste basket, but...

Seriously, I really like this waste basket. I ordered it for our spare room/office after we moved into a larger apartment; mostly, I don't pay attention to it, but every time I empty it I think about how nice it looks. Our other waste baskets around the house are mostly the ugly white Rubbermaid type things, which are pretty much the same price but don't really "go" with any decor and tend to show dirt, scuffs, etc. all too clearly. This piece would complement most decors and really blends in nicely. It is definitely a bit darker than it looks on my monitor here, but still, very nice.
I don't know why I haven't yet replaced the living room waste basket with another one of these, come to think of it. Not really as suitable for a bathroom or kitchen since you'd want to use a bag and it would detract from the elegance of the finish, but perfect for an office waste basket or any other area where you're mostly throwing away things that aren't too messy.
It's made of plastic, but I disagree with the reviewer who claims that it "easily changes shape." It's a rigid plastic, and I have yet to do anything to it that would cause it to warp. It feels plenty solid to me.
