Customer Review: Do NOT buy the Tray

The BUMBO seat is wonderful, but the Tray is AWFUL...a true waste of money. It is surprising that the same company created these two products. Getting the tray on is a little tricky, but that is not the problem. The problem is that the tray comes off with just about any movement. So, unless your infant sits perfectly still at all times, avoid this product. And I don't just mean fussy type movements...ANY movement can knock the tray off. If my 7 month-old slightly lifts her leg, off it comes. One wonderful thing about the seat is the lack of straps, but the same cannot be said about the tray. It definitely needs to be secured in some fashion. Once my daughter realizes it is off, she grabs it with both hands, and it becomes a large and awkward toy. I think there are better "toys" on the market, so since that is all it is good for, I'll be returning it tomorrow. Save yourself the trouble and just enjoy the Bumbo seat as it is.Customer Review: SOOOO Helpful

I had one of those newborns that NEVER liked being put down. The bumbo chair was sent from ~HEAVEN~ I started using it when she was about 1 1/2 months, I was about to give up on it around 5 months because Rosemary was trying wiggle out of it. I heard about this tray and immediately bought it. It was shipped from Amazon and I got it in 2 days! Target was going to be 2 weeks!! It is not exactly what I thought it was going to be BUT I love it. It has NEVER pinched her legs, she has NEVER fallen out of it or even dropped it on the floor. It does not fit in as securey as I had hoped BUT she is now 10 1/2 months old and still using it and has stopped her from wiggling around. We use it everyday instead of a high chair, it conserves space. I can just put it on the floor or under the table when I am not using it! She loves it...and so do I!!!!Customer Review: Terrible Tray

I loved the Bumbo seat as did my 6 month old daughter. I originally wanted the Bebe Pod because of the tray, but it wasn't available when I purchased the Bumbo. I bought the tray for the Bumbo and took it back the same day. It doesn't stay on at all and when my daughter would lean on it, the sides would come up and down and pinch her skin! Babies R Us had the new Bebe Pod with tray. I purchased it and couldn't be happier. She loves the toy that comes with it and the tray stays in place. She also sits much better in the Pod because her legs can bend at the knees and not shoot straight out like in the Bumbo. Spend the money on a Bebe Pod, it ends up costing the same as a Bumbo since you have to buy the tray seperate anyway.Customer Review: Love it, Love it, Loooove it!

Saw the Bumbo Sitter at a friend's house and after observing her daughter in it... decided to get one. Unfortunately, I purchased it from my favorite big, red "bulls-eye" store (winkwink) and it took over a month to get to my house, I was not too happy about that - so buy it from Amazon! It will get there faster.
Anyway, the Bumbo Sitter in a MUST have. AND THE TRAY IS ESSENTIAL! Most of the reviews I read on Amazon complained that the child could not reach the floor to pick up toys. This solves that problem by placing them at arm's reach!
My daughter loves this! I'm buying both the sitter and the tray for a friend who is expecting!
DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Customer Review: Good in theory...

I was really excited to receive this from Target (via Amazon) in the mail (arrived in a week, not to bad!) and since my baby has a bad habit of dropping his toys to the floor where he can no longer reach them, thought this would be great.
Well... it's good when he's in a good mood, not squirming, and not upset. Once he decides he no longer wants to be in the seat, he starts to arch his back, and the try pops/slides off, but not before pinching my son's leg first.
If it didn't cost 1/2 as much as the original cost to send it back to Amazon - I would...
Really mom's take my word on this: Bumbo seat = GREAT! Tray for Bumbo, waste of time and money.
