This is by far the best bag I have ever owned. Ive been a plumber, carpenter,framer and finally...electrician. If i had this bag when i first started in the construction industry, it would have made things much more simple for me and probably saved some tools from being stolen as well.
This bag is not complex but rather well-built with the pockets in the right places. The easy viewing of your tools at a distance is a great plus. I really like how the bag pulls the weight of all the tools to the center instead of spreading it out. Dont be fooled however, This bag will be heavy when it is filled but anyone who needs a bag like this should know that already.
I do have a couple of slight irritations and they have to do with the flaps. Each flap has 2 zippered pockets on the outside to store light things such as pens and things of that nature. The bottom pocket is slightly bigger than the top and could hold a bit more. The problem is that when you try to fold these flaps when they have the most smallest of items, the flaps dont fold very well in order to buttom them up. Now you can just leave the flaps outright and not worry with folding them up but this is one of the details i enjoyed about this bag so i dont see myself utilizing those outer pockets very much. The other is that the buttons seem to be difficult to maneuver to lock. This may just be a problem i am having but i seem to spend just a little more time on them than i would care to. This is about as much as you will hear me complain about it.
I would have given this bag 5 stars just because it is the best bag i have ever owned by far, but, it is not absolutely perfect (by no fault of anyones). I will await future ideas by this maker as they have the right ideas with genuine quality attached.

My only complaint is the price of this bag, this bag would be perfect if the price point was $100 that being said I have nothing but good things to say. This bag will hold tons of tools, far more to the point that you can easily overload the bag. The shoulder strap is perfect, it really allows you to carry a lot more gear to and from the truck. At first having to zipper and unzipper the bag felt like it was slowing me down but the first time the bag dumps upside down in the truck it makes all the effort worth it. This bag holds an 18v dewalt impactor just fine, however I found one of the smaller 12v bosch or makita impactors fits much better and can handle 90% of the jobs I run into.
If you are the type of person who is already organized and has a bag that works spending $140 on a bag isn't for you. If you are in the need of a fantastic organization system that almost forces you to be organize this bag is for you. It's design really doesn't allow you to throw and go like many other tool bags.Instead you have to place the tools in their spots in order for the bag to close. This bag has easily increased my productivity, no more embarrassing digging thru my old bag for 10 minutes to find a socket or pliers while the customer looks on. Instead all the tools are where they should be and ready to go.

I have been in the electronic security industry for 15 years both installing and servicing. Due to the nature of this business, I'm required to carry a wide variety of tools. I have tried many tool boxes, bags, and pouches, but none come close to the Veto Pro Pac. I carry screwdrivers, nutdrivers, channelocks, adjustable wrenches, several different type of crimpers, wire cutters, multi-meter, tone generator, network cable tester, fault finder meter, telephone butt set, and some other things I can't even remember right now! I make one trip in from the van with my Pro Pac on my shoulder and cordless drill box in my hand and I have every tool I need. You can feel the quality in this bag even before you open the box to take it out. If you're a professional and you want a professional bag, then this one is for you. The only thing more they could do to improve it is to add an external pocket that houses a small parts case such as for screws. I carry mine inside the bag but sacrafice a small amount of room. If you are a guy who likes to carry tools in his pockets or a little hip pouch, this isn't for you. If your a guy who wants a selection of tools with him on the job and want them in their own spots so you can find them and also know when one is missing, then buy it. Veto PRO PAC makes the best tool bag out there. I say this after years of using many other brands and designs. You won't regret this purchcase. The XL is the perfect size for plumbing service calls. If you have pride in your work and tools then this tool bag is for you.
I bought this bag December 2009. After reading some of the other reviews I belive that they have corrected some of the issues that affected the older bags. The handle is tough yet comfortable and the bag is set up to keep all your tools organized and within quick reach. I do agree with one reviewer who complained that tools catch on the plastic backing along the top row when pulling them out and the plastic should be extended to the bottom of the tool pocket, however, knowing this I don't put tools that catch on the plastic backing in the upper row. I am now at the point where I "know" where all of the tools are and I can reach for them without looking and get what I need. This is a great accomplishment, no more stabbing my fingers or digging for my smallest wrench. The name says it all, this bag is for pros.

After being in the Electrical Construction Trade for well over 35 years, I have tried every Tool Bag, Box, Pouch, and Bucket immaginable. I just received my Veto Pro Pac, loaded it with all of the Tools from my previous toolbox, and immediatley noticed a hugh decrease in the amount of time I spend "pawing" through the tools looking for a specific tool! Each tool has its own "home" and is immediatley visible without the customary digging that is associated with "standard" tool bags and boxes. The Pro Pac actually lives up to its own name!
I would give this tool bag (actually a tool storage system) a 10 plus if the rating box allowed it. I plan to retire using this Pro Pac with no questions in my mind about it! I only wish I had come acrossed it earlier. This is truly a piece of equipment that any Professional Tradesman should consider! Thank you for such a great "Tool Storage System" it is much too good to simply be called a "tool bag".
