Customer Review: Too small for the large price tag

I bought this bag at a local hardware store. I paid $110 for it and I thought it was the bee's knee's!
It is made well. Not sure where it is made though because no where here nor on the manufactures website is anything listed about where it is made. I would suspect forign made though or it would be proudly posted if made in USA.
If you have a lot of hand tools like screwdrivers and pliers, it would do well for you. BUT if you carry a cordless drill and other things like that, FORGET IT! I had to return it because there is very limited space for items like that.
I also checked out the XXL! That bag is huge length wize, but it lacks room heigth wize. My large screwdrivers and pump pliers would not fit in the pockets.
If they make the XXL as tall as the XL, I would buy it. Until then, I bought the BucketBoss 06500 Extreme Gear 06500 ToolBoss Vertical Tool Organizer with GateMouth. It has all the room I need! Lots of tool pockets and a large tool storage area. Now I just need someone to carry it around!

This is by far the best toolbag I have ever owned. I am an HVAC technician in NY, so my bag is exposed to snow, rain and daily abuse from jobsites. This bag is built to a ridiculous level of quality and it is rather apparent that a person who works for a living designed it. I love not having to dig and dig for my tools, each has there own spot. The bottom of the bag is water-proof and very strong, so snow and wet conditions are a non-issue. While it is heavy, it is surprisingly comfortable to carry and as far as I'm concerned the couple added pounds represent quality materials. It took me a little while to get over the high price, but once I received it, I knew that it was more than worth the cost. I have had this bag for six months and every job I have worked there are always a couple of people who show up with this bag a couple days later after seeing mine. If you have a job that requires you to have a toolbag look no further, this bag in all likelihood will outlast it's owner!Customer Review: Decent bag, law of diminishing returns applies here..

I have had this closed top bag for years, since Veto came into the market mainstream. It has seen very light use and travel so held up fairly well.
Two regrets I have:
1) not getting an open top bag, which weren't available from Veto at the time. The closed-top is really inconvenient for my needs and I end up leaving it open all the time for easier access.
2) that I spent as much as I did on a simple tool bag.
I have never been one to purchase cheap tools and the quality of these bags is unquestionable, but the law of diminishing returns definitely applies here. I would say put your money into something else rather than spend $200 on one of these. I give it three stars for quality materials used in making the bag, but these are very simply put overpriced for what your getting especially when you consider the size of each bag. Very easy to outgrow them

I'd give this bag 5 stars for the fact that it's built like a brick SH, you get mucho durability for your money. But I returned mine. The shipping weight alone should have tripped a circuit in my brain - 8 lbs! This is a heavy bag. If all you do is lug this from the tailgate to the jobsite - say 30 to 50 ft - you'll love it. It'll outlast you. But I work in NYC apartments and haul a lot of what I have to use to the site - and up many stairs. Plus, the design of this bag begs to be loaded with all the tools you have - even the ones you don't need or use anymore. When it arrived, I had an epiphany...I need 3 or 4 bags (lighter bags) loaded with specific tools for specific jobs - take what I need, leave the rest. If it fits your style of work I'm sure you wouldn't be dissatisfied with the Veto bag - but it wasn't for me. I wish the company made a bag that was ½ to a 1/3 the size/weight. I like to have my tools organized such that I don't have to look for them. It is very well made and will probably last a lifetime for my use (weekend warrior).
This tool bag has about a billion pockets so everything has its place now. One minor thing is that most the pockets are deep so smaller things are limited to being in the front.
It would even be better if one side at least accommodated a power driver - my deWalt driver does not fit in the bag. Not a huge deal because very rarely does one bag hold all my stuff.
The covers fold over and snap so that they stay. That's a nice thought but it takes a bit of time to find the snaps - heavy duty Velcro would have done better, I think.
The large bag is heavy. Loaded up with tools, it is really heavy.
Not perfect but a nice bag, all in all. Certainly better than my other ones.
