Customer Review: Great Product, Poorly Shipped

On the basis of an America's Test Kitchen recommendation, I purchased this heavy-gauge baking pan and, just as ATK said, it doesn't warp in the oven. No baking sheet, however sturdy, can survive being shipped across country in an unpadded plastic bag without some damage. Mine arrived scratched and a little dented. I wrote to complain to the seller, but have not received a response. This is a great baking pan, but exercise caution if purchasing it from Next Day Gourmet.Customer Review: Arrived Warped. . . Twice

Purchased mine from KATOM.com restaurant supply, not from amazon. Thought I would review anyways. Bottom line is that the first one arrived warped. Their Customer service was great and contacted the manufacturer to send me another one. Still arrived warped!!! Very sturdy pan being 13 gauge but quality control sucks. Maybe i am just unlucky but I doubt it. I was looking forward to getting the pan as it was the CI recommended, but it was a total dud.Customer Review: Americas test kitchen was right again

after wasting money on cheap walmart pans that I thought were good enough to bake with I finally spent the money on these half pan baking sheet and I now make better roasts lamb, or just about everything you want to cook on these pans better and best of all, no warpage. If you care to read the review of the test kitchen just go there and look at all the equipment tested. I will buy these again, even at the $17 price

Although these pans are heavy duty and exactly what I expected in that aspect, I'm very disappointed in the edges- they aren't rolled under all the way. They look rolled from the top, but slide your finger underneath and you'll be worrying about getting cut! Every time I pull one out I'm disappointed all over again. Boo for skipping such an elemental step! For this price, I expect a clean edge.Customer Review: Good as you can get nowadys

I have two pans that I inhereeted from my Mother and never appreciated them until I bought this "Cooks Illustrated" best rated pan. Don't get me wrong, it is a good heavy pan that does not warp like a cheap one from a discount store, but it is not near as good or heavy as the one I got from my Mother who cooked professionally. I guess "they don't make them like that anymore"
