Customer Review: sturdy fan is almost exactly what i was looking for

i knew from the description and another review that i would want a middle setting, but in every other respect, this fan is perfect for my needs (redirecting airflow to keep a housemate's smoke away). none of the alternatives i looked at seemed as good, so i got this one anyway.
the low setting is truly whisper quiet -- it's hard to tell the fan is on -- but it's still effective. the high setting is also good, just sometimes a bit too loud. it would be nice to have a middle setting with more oomph than the low setting and less tornadic activity than the high one.

This is a decent fan, but I think the price is a bit high for an all plastic appliance.
I like the fact that the fan has a normal table top base as well as a clamp base. The low speed setting is reasonably quiet. The high speed setting is reasonably powerful (not quiet). The fan tilts and turns every which way, which is useful. Note that this is not an oscillating fan.
For the price, I would have liked to have more than two speeds to choose from.

This is a great fan and is perfect for what wanted it for. The only reason I didn't make it 5 stars was that it is a bit loud on the high setting. I ended up attaching it to my the back of my entertainment center with the clip, facing the couch where I sit. I plugged it into the outlet on my stereo so that I can use my remote to turn on the stereo which then turns on the fan. Pretty cool! (Excuse the pun)...Customer Review: Great Fan

Fan was exactly what i needed. For its size it works like a charm. A feature i love on this fan is the heavy duty clip. i do not have the most desk space to put a typical fan on, so the clip came in handy. Recommend this fan for anyone who wants a smaller fan to cool off in the summer.
Also, just because the fan is smaller then some, does not mean it is not powerful.

While we received the package and after opened we found that the shell of cooler has been broken, it may caused during the delivery, how ever we have no time to process the refund, we may not buy anything excepting book on Amazon anymore.
