Customer Review: No More Cold Feet

I spend most of my evenings at the PC on my desk in the basement. Needless to say, the floor is cold and a draft comes from the next room. I just received the Vornado and I no longer go to bed with cold feet. It is great as I don't want to heat the whole basement, it takes very little power, has simple control switches and makes a nice foot rest as well. I would have given it 5 stars except that the the low heat setting doesn't seem to put out any heat and the fan is a little noisy on high.Customer Review: Fabulous heater

My mother bought me this heater back in 1995. It finally just died today and I am already ordering a new one. I love this thing. I keep it under my desk at all times. In the winter I use a blanket over my legs to keep my whole body warm while I am working at my desk. In the summer, I use the cool air function to keep me cool. It also sits at just the right level as a foot rest. I'm just sad that I have to wait for the shipping time to get my new one!!Customer Review: Could be good

I purchased this foot rest/heater in October 2009. I loved it at first because it worked. As a "foot rest" it has a good design, is comfortable and sturdy. However, I bought it for the heating element and it's very disappointing how quickly it stopped working ... and I didn't even it use it very much. Now, in Jan 2010, it barely works. My feet hardly warm up on the LOW setting. And on HIGH it only blows cold air. I am very disappointed.Customer Review: Nice So Far

I really like this foot rest. The heat is nice, I'm sure I'll use it a lot once winter rolls around. The fan-only setting is the reason I gave it only four stars: after about 5 minutes, the fan itself gets warm and you don't feel the cool breeze on your feet anymore. Works great as a footrest by itself, the heat function works well so far (haven't used it much since it's only September). The Vornado SoleAir is a great personal space heater for under a desk. With my old heater I would have to turn it off and on constantly because it would get too warm. This is the perfect temp to keep on steadily. The design keeps my feet propped up and comfortable. It's also very light, easy to move around. The buttons are easy to reach with your feet, though I do sometimes bump it to off. I am really pleased!
