I love Amazon.com simply because I can find everything I need, generally at a discount. A friend of mine got me a salt lamp for Christmas, and explained the properties of the lamp. I plugged it in, and just loved the look of it. The light that it puts out makes it a very inviting and welcoming addition to my house, and anyone who sees it, wants to know where I got it. I loved that Christmas Salt lamp so much, I went to Amazon.com and placed an order for 3 8" lamps from Tiger Drive and could not be happier with them. They came very securely packaged, very professionally, and quick. All items were included, and easy to set up. The price is right, the lamps look great, and I am one happy customer. I would suggest better quality control rather than just dig a hold in a rock and sell it. One lamp is not of quality: light cannot go through part of rock. To me, this is a quality problem rather than "uniqueness".
Customer service was terrible. They did not agree that they missed one cable even though agreed to resend one. It did not arrive after about two weeks. They again denid that they did not send it but blamed FebEx without being able to show evidence. Further they claimed that they would charge me if I ask them to send one again. Why shall I be charged if it's not my fault? I had to ask for the tracking no. this time. The cable arrived shortly after they provided the tracking no..

This is the third salt lamp I have purchased and the best one yet! I like the plastic light insert that holds the 15 watt lamp as opposed to the cheaper metal spring type housing found on many others. It is well constructed and gives off a fairly bright light--some may find it too bright for sleeping. I put a plant in front of it or use something to shield the light in the bedroom. It gives off a nice soft light for a child's room with more viewing power than a regular night light. One in the living room enables me see well enough to cross a dark room to turn on a table lamp. I hope it helps shield or absorb EMF energy but am pleased with the lighting it provides regardless.Customer Review: Overall great product

I originally ordered four of these lamps for gifts. When the.packages arrived they came in two separate boxes. One big one holding 3 and a small one containing 1. Of the 4 the 3 that came in the big.box where in good condition when opened. The remaining lamp that was individually boxed came in a beat up box. The product' s packaging box was also beat up so I couldn't t give it away as a gift and ended up.keeping it. Once, I opened up the already beaten box the product inside of it was perfectly fine. That' s the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars. But the product itself is great and the 3 that were given away were also enjoyed and liked very much.Customer Review: Exceptionally pleased!!!!

I had taken my son to visit his pediatrician and she had one of these salt lamps in every exam room. Prior to this visit, the rooms had a typical doctors office smell-not offensive but they do treat ill children there! At this visit, the exam rooms didn't have the previous odor and it was attributed to the salt lamps. As we have 2 cats and 2 dogs and allergy issues I thought we would try using these lamps at home. Now the house smells fresher and the allergies have subsided! Another plus is that the salt lamps cast a warm glow and we have eliminated using any nightlights. We will be giving these as gifts to our loved ones this year!!
