The product appeared to be well made and fit the air filter system well. I have not yet run it enough so that I can judge the effectiveness (it is being used as the "optional" third stage filter. The only issue I had was with the shipment/quality on delivery. The box was not well sealed and partially crushed. The filter inside was bent a little on one outside frame member (it could not necessarily be attributed to shipment - it could have been packed that way). I straightened it out with pliers and made it serviceable. For the price, I would have preferred not to do that.

The JET 708729 AFS-15WEF is a replacement washable electrostatic filer for the AFS-1500 Air Filtration System. The filter is electronically charged to attract many more dust particles than other standard filters. Using it with the AFS-1500 system, you can filter 98% of all particles 5 microns in size and 85% of all particles 1 micron in size.
