If you are expecting a power washer you will be disappointed. This is not a power washer, although it can do similar things. When I first hooked it up, the connection leaked. However upon closer examination, I found it was the hose connector that was leaking and not the WaterJet. I used a different hose and there was no leaking anywhere. I have a white privacy fence that was green with algae. I first used the regular nozzle that came with the WaterJet and that did a pretty good job on the algae, almost as good as a power washer. I had the best results with the nozzle about 1 ½ to 2 feet away from the object I was cleaning. I then tried the fan nozzle. It was not as powerful as the regular nozzle and used more water, but covered a larger area. I got the best results with the fan nozzle at 1 to 2 inches. The WaterJet is not junk. It is well constructed and worked as advertised. One point that was not mentioned was that the performance of the WaterJet is determined by your local water pressure. If you have poor water pressure you will have poor performance of the WaterJet. If you have good water pressure you will have good performance.
