I ordered a package of 3 water filters in early December from PureWater and they arrived within days. For various reasons, I never opened the package until Christmas morning, only to discover that they had sent the wrong filters.
On Christmas afternoon, I sent a message to the company stating they had sent the wrong filters. The next morning
I received a reply apologizing for the error and promising to make good. Soon thereafter, I received a package with the correct filters and a postage paid return voucher so I could send back the earlier filters at no cost to myself.
Everyone is entitled to one mistake, especially around Christmas when things can be hectic. Assuming that this is not a habit and because they were quick to respond to the mistake and took full responsibility for the error, I would rate this transaction as a positive one. I found their good customer service to be a plus and I would do business with them again.
PS the second set of filters works fine. The filters are for a Maytag refrigerator but they are not Maytag filters; they are after market filters but they work just fine. And, the website clearly states that they are generic filters, not Maytag so I was not surprised when I opened the package
