Tools and Hardware Reviews of Water Tech CATFISHPPV Pool Blaster, CatfishCustomer Review: Great Product! Summary: 5 Stars
This is truly a must have product. We have a large inground pool, and it cleans it up quickly and easily. Great for the in between touch ups. I never bought the sand and silt bag because of the price, instead I use a cut down knee high nylon stocking, placed inside the bag it comes with and fold it over the rubber, this method picks up every last bit of sand (we live near the beach).
Customer Review: very usefull Summary: 5 Stars
I wasn't sure about this after reading some of the reviews but decided to give it a try. I am glad I did. We do not have tons of trees around our pool but every now and then we will get some leaves or sand in the bottom. I used to have to lug out the big pool vac. Now I just grab this and in 5 min. I am done spot cleaning. I have not had to use the big vac. all summer.
Customer Review: Works well for our 3k gallon pool Summary: 4 Stars
We have a small Endless Pool and this does very well for that. Just 7x14 feet, so not a big workout, but it is powerful enough to get the job done. But I also haven't used it enough to have the leaking problems others have reported. But what I love about it is that the debris doesn't just go into the filter to slowly rot there. It gets out of the water system altogether.
Customer Review: just OK Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this last summer for our above ground pool. It worked really well until the gear got stripped for no apparent reason. We did get good customer service it just took most the summer to get the parts to fix it. Not sure what caused the problem as we were only sucking up pine needles and that sort of debride. When it was working, it did an outstanding job!
Customer Review: Not worth the money...BEWARE Summary: 1 Stars
This thing is complete junk. It is very, very small and really is misleading when it says it will pick up leaves. It might have enough capacity to hold about 10 leaves in it's tank before you have to empty it. The pictures make it look much bigger than it really is. It is about the size of a loaf of bread, if that gives you any idea. I want my money back!!!!
