Description of Marquis by Waterford Quadrata 8-Inch Vase
· The Quadrata 8-Inch vase is a display of brilliance and light. The vase retains Quadrata's deep wedge cuts from rim to base, intersected by a band of etched squares and perpendicular wedge cuts at the top.Elegant when filled with flowers or as a centerpiece by itself, this eight-inch-tall crystal Quadrata vase makes a dramatic contemporary statement. Deep wedge cuts run longitudinally down the vase, intersected near the top by a horizontal band of squares, each further highlighted by a small etched square. The vase tapers from a two-inch-diameter base to a five-inch-diameter mouth. Matching Quadrata bowls, as well as an identical twelve-inch vase, are also available.
Waterford and Marquis, two prestigious crystal companies, joined forces in 1991 to create a simpler, more modern design line for today's lifestyles. Crafted in Poland and handsomely gift-boxed, this crystal vase should be washed by hand in moderately hot water with detergent, then dried with a soft cloth to prevent spotting. --Ann Bieri
