Tools and Hardware Reviews of Waterpik TRS-559 Elements 5-Mode Handheld Shower, Brushed NickelCustomer Review: works as expected- we love it! Summary: 4 StarsI read the mixed reviews and purchased this shower head.
it was super easy to install, and I did not find the need to remove the black washer flow regulator thingy.. no black water for us!
this makes hair washing and rinsing of my 3 year old SO much easier... great for giving the puppy a bath, and rinsing the shower before we get out to keep the soap scum and mildew down too!
we love the 5 different settings- they all work very well. with a little plumber's tape, no leaks or streams coming from the attachment and the water line.
it does work as advertised and we certainly love the difference over a standard shower head.
Customer Review: Looks good, works great, simple to install, great price... Summary: 5 Stars.....what more can I say. Simply put, a great purchase for me. No installation problems whatsoever, and it looks good and works perfectly.
Customer Review: decent spray no power on massage!! Summary: 2 StarsI bought this to replace an old 5 mode shower head that had decent but not great massage setting. I am overall disappointed with this product, even after removing the flow regulator it has a weak massage setting that is not much more than a strong spray. It looks good but if you are looking for a massage nozzle don't buy this product!!
Customer Review: Nice but lacks water control options Summary: 3 StarsThe finish is really nice. It looks and feels great. Its not cheap plastic. The only problem is that there really isnt much in regards to spray options. The massage is weak. (Probably due to the water flow restrictors inside.)The other spray settings make it feel as if there are really only two or three. (Because some sprays are combined sprays and they count that as another setting.) Definitely much better quality then a plastic one. I recommend, looks great and the two settings I use are good enough.
**11/30/2008: Junk. Plastic threads cracked leaking water everywhere
Customer Review: Inferior Summary: 2 StarsThis works but...
Using the basic spray pattern, the water shoots down in a straight line instead of fanning out as it does on other shower heads I've used. Not quite comfortable--having all the water striking roughly four square inches of skin.
The other spray patterns are pretty much worthless. And water leaks out around the edges of the head. NOT a white tape issue, this is happening around joints created by the manufacturer. I don't like the stiffness of the cord either. It's always getting in the way. Next time I'll go back to Delta.
