I love this water filter. I moved into a new apartment in the city and found that the water was many levels worse than the water in the old place, even though they were very close to each other. My Brita just wasn't cutting it at the new place. The water has a "swampy" kind of smell and taste to it, on top of the general city "metallic" taste. This filter was a breeze to install -- just a turn of the wrench to get the ring currently on the faucet off and then an easy, by-hand twisting on of the adapter for the filter and it was ready to go. I fill the Brita pitcher with water from this filter, but even straight out of this filter it's very good.Customer Review: No Surprises

I picked this product because as a renter I wanted an easy to install filter that I can take with me when I move. This is much better than the type you attach to the faucet itself as it is larger and will filter more water before needing to change the filter inside. I like that ANY 10 inch replacement filter may be used when it's time to change it.
Water taste good with the whole house filter it came with, but when the time comes I'll probably buy a better replacement filter that will remove more of the things you can't see or smell.
Good as the under the sink type filters, but installs in seconds. Definitely a step up from Pure!

It was easy to install and it's nice not to have one of those clunky filters attached to the faucet spout. The filter output 'spout' is repositionable which is great when I'm trying to refill my humidifier. I'm hoping the filtered water will cut down on the gunk that builds up in the humidifier. As for drinking, the filtered water tastes great!
I was worried about the negative comments about the filter replacement so the first thing I did was try to remove the cover. It was a bit of a challenge due to the width of the filter but I was able to unscrew the top without a problem. I've had a harder time opening jars of pickles.

I got this filter about 1 month ago. Construction: well made and finished. Diverting valve is made of metal, and pops itself back to off position when you turn off the water. This is a nice function, since you don't have to pop the valve back manually when you stop filtering. I had a previous counter top filter Kenmore with a plastic valve, which broke, making that filter useless. The watts valve is metal and I suspect should last much longer. The filter casing is a standard size, and can use any brand that fits in it. The base has a extra height that makes fitting bottles underneath the spigot better than other filters.Customer Review: Love it!

My friend had one of these systems. I always loved the clear,clean water-especially the taste so I bought myself one. Unfortunately, the first one I received had a tiny hole in the tube. I was disappointed because I had wanted one for so long & saved up to get it, then couldn't use it. However, customer service took great care of me & I received a new one just 2 days later. It works great! It's much better on the wallet since I don't have to continuously buy bottled water anymore. Plus, better for our environment! I give this product 2 thumbs up! Oh and super easy to install & uninstall so perfect for people that move often.
