Tools and Hardware Reviews of Weed Eater GA2010 Gutter Cleaning Blower AttachmentCustomer Review: Protect Yourself! Summary: 4 Stars
Do NOT underestimate how filthy and wet you're going to get when you use this product. I ended up wearing a plastic pocho with a hood. Plastic protective eyeware (included in the kit) is a MUST. My gutters were filled to the limit with leaves, debris and pine needles. Also filled with about an inch or two of water.
My house and windows are now filthy also... but a hose will take care of that. Easier than the Ladder & Garbage Can Routine? Yes, but still a big job. Product does what it promises. Probably would be a cinch if gutters were dry.
Customer Review: Gutter cleaning attachment Summary: 3 Stars
This product is ok. It works ok, but without some problems. With all of the extensions put together, it is very ackward to hold up and then manuver along gutter to clean it out. We live in the mountains and get lots of pine needles in our gutters. This will flip out some of the needles if they are very dry, but still requires me to use a ladder to completely clean out gutter :( . Also I had to duct tape some of the fittings to keep them from blowing apart. I was hoping for better success. Maybe someone has an answer to make it work better :).
Customer Review: Weed Eater Blower Attachment Summary: 2 Stars
This product just wouldn't stay together when being used, it come apart where it joins to the blower. The so called "adapters" that are supposed to fit "all major brands" stink!. Mind you, you're trying to balance this very long tube to overlook the gutter and also trying to keep the unit in one piece but as soon as you throttle up, it blows apart. I wound up using screws and bungy cords to hold it in one piece but it's still a handful. You can get away with something low but forget those secound story jobs. Good intentions, poor design.
Customer Review: Weedeater gutter cleaning attachment: As advertised Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this knowing full well that attaching it to my Toro blower/vacuum would be problematic, but I only knew this because of the reviews provided here. I thought it would work with my shop-vac and it has certainly done the job to my satisfaction. The attachments are intuitive and once connected it works with the shop-vac as a vacuum or blower. We have an oak, and acorns in the gutters are always a challenge. The attachment with the vacuum sucks them up with no problem. I am satisfied as it keeps me off a ladder, which was my goal.
Customer Review: Come on, think about it. Summary: 4 Stars
For all of the customers who have had trouble getting this to fit, there is a secret. This is a Weedeater product and it fits all Weedeater blowers. The only accessory I know of that will fit all blowers of every manufacturer is an extension cord. If you have a Toro or something other than Weedeater brand do not expect this to fit.
Mine has worked great for cleaning out gutters, I do recommend you wear a hat, old clothes and safety glasses as you may experience falling wet leaves.
