Mom couldn't find a "touch on" lamp, I found this plug-in adater and got it for her. What a great little helper! She couldn't reach the switch on her reading lamp de to artritus, and now she can turn it on and off with ease. Anything that works so well and makes life easier or Mom is a winner in my book!Customer Review: Flips on without being touched.

Will turn on randomly without being touched. Often turns on whenever you turn anything else on the same circuit or outlet on. Wont turn on or off most of the time when you touch the lamp it is connected to. If I could give it zero stars I would. Ordered this product but received what was evidentily a substitute. Received an "Amertac" brand version instead. The substitue worked as advertised but is way more bulky then the original order. Does not allow, (the substitute), for other devices to be utilized in the same receptacle.Customer Review: Way Cool, Works Well

I wanted a touch lamp but the selection is limited, with this product all my lamps can be touch and stylish. I found the sensivitity to be just right, the lamps don't come on in "ghost mode", and operate with a complete touch (more than a brush, less than a hold). I bought this item for use with a large, metal lamp. The touch dimmer barely works (it only recognizes about 10% of the touches on the lamp) and in both of partially-dim settings, the dimmer (not the bulb) buzzes very loudly. I will be ordering a different model immediately.
