Customer Review: Perfect for your espresso machine

I picked up this timer locally at a discount store for a lot less than it sells for here, but I think it is still a good deal for the price here on Amazon. I have only used it for a couple of days, so I can't comment on how robust it is, but it is currently operating a large, $1600 espresso machine here in my home without problem.
The programming is the usual series of button presses, but the instructions are clear enough that literate users will not have a problem getting it working. They did not include any diagrams or photos in the instructions, but they aren't really necessary.
It offers daily settings such as individual days (i.e. just Tuesday), and various groups such as Mon through Fri, just Sat and Sun, Mon Tue Wed, Wed Thu Fir, and even Mon Wed Fri, and Tu Th. With 20 memory locations there are a lot of choices. I used one one memory location for Mon-Fri to have my machine ready when we awake to go to work, and another for Sat and Sun for when we get up a little later on the weekends.
There is an "OVER" button (for "Override") so that you can turn the timer on or off at any time without disturbing your programmed settings. Turning the timer off when in the middle of a programmed period has no effect on the programming and the appliance will not turn itself back on again during that specific programed time, but will operate normally next time.
It even has battery backup so that after an outage you won't have to reprogram, although I have not read how long the backup will operate. There is a bright red LED on the face of the timer to indicate when it is supplying power (when it is in the "ON" mode). There is also a random setting for lamps and such.
