I love this fan and you can't beat the price! We needed this fan for two reasons: 1. our bedroom had little light and 2. I like noise when I go to sleep. While it does provide me with some noise, I could use a little more; however, if you want a quiet ceiling fan, then this is the one for you. Oh, and I love that the pull chains have a light bulb pic on one and a fan blades pic on the other so you know which one to pull without having to find which chain is attached where and in the midst, go blind by the lights. We are buying two more for the other bedrooms.Customer Review: Quiet, but produces almost no air at all

This is a nice-looking fan, and it's fairly quiet, but it produces almost zero airflow. Before you ask, yes, I've checked, and it is turning in the right direction. It turns quickly enough, but something (the blades might be at the wrong angle?) keeps it from doing any good at all.
Also, as mentioned before, it takes candelabra bulbs, not standard, so be prepared for that. It's really a nice fan, and maybe if the blades were adjustable, it would be worth the money. But they're not, so don't expect it to cool you down at all.

I bought this fan mostly for how it looks, and it is a beautiful fan. While beautiful, it doesn't move much air. Even on high you might struggle to feel the air it puts out. This is fine with me because I just like fans to circulate the air more than to actually cool me down. Also, as others have said, the fans I received DID NOT come with standard light bulb bases, it came with bases for tiny Calendara (spelling?) bulbs. I don't like this at all, but was able to buy full sized CFL bulbs with the tiny bases and they work just the same.Customer Review: Quiet and nice looking

This fan was very easy to install. It is quiet and very nice looking and stylish. I have no problem with the candleabra light bulbs required for use with this fan like some of the previous reviews state. I purchased a package of 4 (3 required for this fan) for $3.99 from my local hardware store. I dont find that to be to expensive like a previous review states. I wish this fan had different light settings though. you just get on or off, no bright, dim, or dimmer. We just installed 3 of these fans in our house. I was worried about the quality of a $40 fan. My electrician convinced me that I could always swap out the fan down the road and to give it a try. Well-all three are great. He had the three installed in a few hours. No wobble, very quiet, and very bright. We were surprised how stylish they were for the price. Most of the neg reviews were because of the bulbs. I don't mind the small bulbs. They look nice. I feel it is a great deal on a great fan!
