I ordered this because Amazon wrote up it required 3 standard base bulbs ... which was exactly what I needed.
When I received it, the bulb size was not standard as written, but was actually candelabra size.
If Amazon doesn't change the item description, you should be aware of that.

The only complaint I have about this fan is that the little stringys that come down to turn either the fan or the light on are super cheapy looking. I suppose it would not be hard to get new "pully thingy's" for it, but just a haslte I guess. no biggy. Great other than that. Puts out lots of light!Customer Review: Perfect little fan!

Purchased this fan for our kitchen and it fits perfectly! Originally, I though it would be standard sized but it is smaller than one you would find in a bedroom or living area. Love the darker wood blades (which are reversible to a light wood) and the pewter hardware. Easy directions and assembly!Customer Review: Great fan, great value

We have two fans like this in the living room and had to replace one. This newer one seems to be quieter than the older model. One difference is that the newer model takes the candlebra bulbs and the older model takes the standard bulb. So ours don't match in that regard, but oh well!
