I bought the 42-inch Westinghouse ceiling fan and it is very quite and and looks really nice. I didn't realize how big it makes my room look. The fan is small but provides a well suround airflow.Customer Review: Quiet, but produces almost no air at all

This is a nice-looking fan, and it's fairly quiet, but it produces almost zero airflow. Before you ask, yes, I've checked, and it is turning in the right direction. It turns quickly enough, but something (the blades might be at the wrong angle?) keeps it from doing any good at all.
Also, as mentioned before, it takes candelabra bulbs, not standard, so be prepared for that. It's really a nice fan, and maybe if the blades were adjustable, it would be worth the money. But they're not, so don't expect it to cool you down at all.

The fan definitely looks great at a decent price. After spending over 4 hours to fix it and get it to run, I found out that it makes noise while running.
The manual says - leave it on for 24 hours for the bearings to settle and the noise to go away. So, We left the fan on for more than 24 hrs, but the noise didnot go away. The light fixture was defective as well. One of the 3 glass holders wouldnt fit in!!!
I finally gave up and spent another 1 hour to take it out. Replaced it with another one I bought at lowes for the same price. After spending another 4 hours, we fixed the new one and it works like a charm.
Such a waste of my time!!!
