This item arrived before the predicted date in good condition and nothing was missing from the box.
This model was purchased to match two other fans in a much larger adjoining open plan room whilst not identical it was the closest match after several weeks of searching
It has worked well so far, it does not seem to be in quite the same performance league as the other 2 fans but as it was $50 cheaper I am not complaining.
The 3 60W bulbs are candle style with candle size screw thread but there are compact CFL fan lamps which may be used as energy saving replacements
I am pleased with this purchase as far as continueing performance only time will tell.
UPDATE
Now had this fan for nearly 15 months tonight something inside shorted out and tripped the breaker removed the fan to check nothing obvious such as a loose connection or broken wire tested again and fuse tripped even without either the fan or light being turned on and no bulbs installed so, I can only assume something more serious unit made buzzing sound like a faulty transformer before tripping I suspect it is a failed part that is not availavble for user replacement very disappointed.
Tempted to buy another as it was the only one we were able to find to match our existing units but, now very wary about the durability of this product.
UPDATE 2
This fan has a 2 year gurantee so I contacted Westinghouse after sales by email the enquiry was dealt with by a guy called James Wilson who seemed very helpful although I explained the problem was a short curcuit he asked for a photograph of the fault which I explained was impossible as I did not know the cause just that it was tripping the breaker. I then forwarded all the information / proof of purchase that he seemed to need, after that NOTHING! despite several mails from me asking if there was a problem with the information I had provided and trying to restart the dialogue I so far after 2 months I have recieved no replies.
Even if they are rejecting the warranty claim I feel that I should be entitled to an explaination not just silence. I will continue to persue this matter now purely on principal but I have decided not to buy any more products from Westinghouse as their policy seems to be ignore any customer after sales problems and hope they will go away well, I won't.
I shall be replacing this fan with a Hunter or a Hampton Bay I have 7 other fans which either Hunter or Hamilton Bay and all are still going strong after years of use. Maybe all these fans are manufactured in the same factory in China and I just got a bad one but that still doesn't excuse my treatment by Westinghouse customer support.

The Westinghouse Vintage fan provides powerful cooling and air with its 52-inch, five-blade design. The blades are reversible, with one side being rosewood and the other light maple, providing versatility in home decorating. Both sides coordinate handsomely with the fan's brushed nickel finish.The fan includes a three-light lighting kit with the three globes resting below and at the center of the fan in a triangular pattern, providing welcome light when necessary. The globes are made of frosted ribbed glass.
