I bought this kit for my new Whirlpool double oven range with ceramic glass cooktop. This is my first glass cooktop so I really do not have anything to compare it to. However, I must say that I have used each item in this kit and they worked wonderfully!
After cooking dinner I had quite a bit of grease splatter that I had wiped up with a normal wet dishrag as I went along. Even though there was no actual "grease" on the cooktop, it still looked awful and streaked. The cleaner solved this problem completely and the protectant made it look brand new! The cleaner is thick and is much like waxing a car, but it is SO worth it! I do recommend buying a lot of microfiber rags/towels to use with this - it will make your life so much easier! I was also scared to use the little rough pads for the tough spots, but it immediately got rid of the spots with little to no effort and did not scratch the cooktop at all. All in all - great product and WELL worth the money!

I've had my flat surface stove top for a few years now. In the beginning I was very diligent about cleaning it weekly, but life has gotten a bit crazy the last year or so & I honestly can't remember the last time I cleaned it. So yesterday I got out this product (which I had bought when I first got my new stove) and set out to work on the nasty brown rings around the elements and with just a bit of elbow grease, my cook top looks brand new after probably about 18 months of not using the special cleaner. I was so afraid I had ruined my cook top by not keeping up with the cleaning but I was wrong!Customer Review: Best product ever!

Just got a smooth cooktop so was very concerned about keeping it looking new. A protectant came with the cooktop and used it for a few days before I got this one home. World of difference!. The other one was ok..this one was much much better. I use it after every cooking after using the whirlpool cleaner(btw the other cleaners are just as good) and it gives the range a super clear shine and protects it really well for the next cooking. Stuff is also easier to remove esp burnt on stuff.I have a black range so every spot shows. Not with this protectant!. Highly recommend this!Customer Review: very incredible product

This simple product serves perfectly well in glass and ceramic stoves removes everything what sticks totally recommend it also if you are going to buy you should the to order the Cooktop Cleaner, 10-Ounce and 8-Ounce Cooktop Protectant that have more them you need totally, this product I enchant myself and works 100% only I did not like was the scraper is very cheap I recommend buy another and more knives you are going to need soon just them the edge.

I've used this cooktop cleaner before, and it does a spectacular job. It removes even dried-up grime (with some elbow grease) and leaves my cooktop gleaming. However, the other things in this kit (cooktop protectant and various cleaning pads) are not helpful. The protectant doesn't appear to do anything. And you don't need special pads; paper towels work just fine. Next time I'll buy just the cleaner.
