With a small child at home, we tend to drink a lot of water. This filter is the one recommended for our refrigerator, and works perfectly.
Pros: Super easy to install, removes everything you can think of, and leaves behind great tasting water.
Cons: None!
I can't bring myself to "loving" a water filter, but this one seems to do it all.

This is the same filter that you will find in the home improvement stores for 40 to 45 dollars. It is the one that filters out harmful chemicals as well as some common metals. I have purchased two of then so far and will buy many more as long as they are the same high quality filters. This OEM product fits and functions properly in Whirlpool side by side fridges with the quarter turn filter located on the bottom panel just below the freezer. I got the Sears OEM filter replacement before, after a couple month i had problem with it. The Ice cube taste slightly bitter. Change to this one even after 6 month was still perfect like the day i installed it. No complaints!
