This product represents great value for money and is etremely easy to install.
The manufacturer recommends changing every 6 months, but I'm sure it's 'water quality' dependent as my filters last at least 12 months (Fort Collins, CO has great water quality).

I prefer Brita filters by far, but since my type was discontinued, I had little choice but to find a new brand of filter. This is as close to a Brita as I could find. I would recommend it above all others, unless you can find a Brita in your make/model.Customer Review: Good Price

This is the original KitchenAid filter that I have been buying locally for almost twice the price for the past 10 years. Will plan on ordering the twin pack from Amazon once a year and find something else to spend the $40 savings on.
