Amazon had the best price including shipping, which was free with Supersaver shipping. The filter arrived in only days. This was so easy to install. Just remember how the cap is oriented when you take the old filter out so you won't have to get on your belly to align it. Thanks to all the previous reviewers, I avoided any troubles. Also, I followed the instructions to flush the filter out for 4 minutes (watered all my plants) and didn't have any problems with funny tasting water or ice.Customer Review: great for city water

This filter does wonders for city water, filtering out the chlorine that is way too prevalent! I had a bit of a hard time trying to get this filter into my fridge, but in the end I just had to use more force than I thought a plastic filter (and fridge components) could take. I don't know why but the water tastes horrible after I installed the filter. I ran the water for a while like it said to do and have tried using for a couple weeks but I just can't stand the taste. It apparently doesn't work.
Update: It seems to taste fine in the morning and afternoon but horrible in the evenings. Not sure why that is.
