This is a box of four filters that go into the Whirlpool Whispure 510 air cleaner I have. An indicator on the machine shows when the filter inside is too dirty for effective cleaning. I have vacuumed an old dirty filter about twice and reused it with no ill effects that I can detect. But finally I needed new filters. Amazon's price was best when I checked online. 4 filters for around $25. That is a year's worth of pre-filters. You need to change these out every 90 days, but you change the Hepa filter out once a year.
