I always clean out the lint trap on my dryer with each load, but the narrow space below the trap collects a lot of lint I can't reach, even with the vacuum cleaner, because the opening is so narrow. I ordered the lint brush, received it in a timely manner, and it is very good quality, and the price was very fair as well. The only reason I didn't give it the 5th star was this: though it is long enough and flexible enough to reach the bottom of the space below the lint trap, to remove lint, the brush itself is a bit 'thick' for the space my dryer offers, and I have to force it down the slot to clean out the lint, which makes it a bit hard to move it around in that narrow space. If the brushy part was a bit less-thick, it would work better for my dryer. I'm sure with habitual use, overtime, it will wear down some and be easier to use, and it does do the job, but takes some maneuvering to fit it into the narrow area to reach the lint (at least on my dryer it does... maybe others have better dryers with larger lint areas).
I've never understood why the manufacturers of dryers haven't come up with something to make this process easier and more efficient (lint removal...the lint screens are fine, but lots accumulates inside the dryer itself in spite of cleaning the screen each load). Probably because the ones who design the dryers are not the ones who actually 'use' them on a regular basis!?! The brush is well worth the money, and good quality and definitely long enough, and the company was very speedy in shipping it too. It works, even if a bit too thick of a brush.
But a bonus with the length of this brush: I've found other uses for it than just a dryer lint brush. When I drop something in the space between the washer and dryer. or between my stove and counter, etc., I'm able to 'fish' for it with this brush with no problem, and it's great for reaching cobwebs around my light fixtures as well. I'm betting I'll find a few other uses for it as time goes on. :)
