We bought a HE front loader washer about six months ago and have kept up on cleaning it with either these tablets or clorox once a month as instructed. Additionally we keep the door and soap loader open when not in use (not in instructions, but recommended by friends). The combination of these has kept our washer perfectly clean. Having a Maytag Bravos washing machine that calls for Affresh and even has a "Clean Cycle" that also has the Affresh logo, I thought it best to use this product for the cleaning process on my washer. I felt that it did a very thorough job when I used it and would recommend highly to other consumers. I've not had my washer long enough to really get a feel for how useful these tabs will be in the long run. Used one when my washer was first installed, and used one again after about 2 months (and a particularly nasty set of boy clothes). My washer is still very clean and fresh smelling, none of the odor that i see talked about with high efficiency units.Customer Review: Great product!

After a few months of using my new front load washer, I noticed an odor. I tried bleach, vinegar, and several other things without satisfaction. I put one of these tablets in my washer on the first day of every month, and I haven't noticed the odor since. I intend to continue using this every month and think it is very much worth the price.Customer Review: Good short term fix

I found this product did a great job of taking care of the mildew smell in the washer and also on the clothes. The only problem is, and it's not a problem with this product, it's a short term fix for a long term problem. If you use this product often it will keep the black gunk out of the washer and also keep the smell off the clothes.
