this product does help with the mildew and musty smell, but it doesn't completely solve it. I think it's ridiculous to have to wipe out a washing machine after every load. I would recommend it if you plan on keeping your front loader, but I still plan on scrapping mine and going back to a top loader.Customer Review: not nearly the best product available
