I bought this because my old one in my Maytag dishwasher developed a crack in the bottom of it (after many years of faithful service), allowing knives to slip through and stop the bottom water arm from moving. This looked the same, and indeed was the exact replica. However, it didn't have the middle handle on it, but in looking at the old one, the handle was removable. It uses some pretty tight plastic tabs to stay on, so I ended up doing battle with it using 4 butter knives and some cuss words, and was able to remove it. It snapped right into the new one. 1 star docked for having to transfer the handle. The dimensions of this basket are (approximately): bottom 5 1/8" wide by 8 3/4" long; and it flares to a bit wider (6" x 9") at the top.
