I had just recently purchased this item here. And it is pretty good, it runs alot of my appliances that i put in the car such as lights, cell phone charger, and dvd player. The unit has performed better than I expected for the small amount paid for it. The fan is about medium in noise generation but not a bother. I use it to power lights for all seasons (Christmas, Easter, Halloween etc.) in a commuter van. Great Power Inverter and highly recommended.Customer Review: Better than expected

Took it on a 3 hour trip using my laptop as the GPS unit.....It pumps out 120 VAC, and continued to do so for the entire time......Fan is quite obvious, but not annoying.... It seems to work very good. I looked at whistler's name and reputation for this purchase. It is convenient to carry with you and is very easy to use. If you are buying an inverter, you need to look at the wattage you buy and is it enough for the job you want to do.Customer Review: So good.....way good

I bought this so that I could use my breathing machine in my camper which is 12v without hookups. I snore etc. It is somewhat loud but the benefits are so good. What a cleaver invention. I love it.
