Customer Review: Excellent storage for your ornaments

It's been a long time since I've put up a Christmas tree, in part because I lost a lifetime's worth of ornaments in a flood a couple of years ago. But this year, armed with a determination to deck the halls once again, I bought a lot of ornaments, and then had no place to store them after the holiday was over.
The Whitmor storage box turned out to be, if not a life-saver, an ornament-saver at least. It has two levels with heavy cardboard dividers, and the compartments are generously sized for even the largest ornaments I'd purchased. In fact, each compartment can hold several smaller ones, though it's best not to put a lot of breakable ornaments in the same compartment. The divider between the two levels is quilted, not just plain cardboard, and is hinged for ease of access to the lower level. The lid is affixed at the back, and fastens with velcro in the front. The handle in front is for ease of removing the box from a shelf, which is a thoughtful design element, but it is not for carrying.
I'm quite pleased with this box. As I acquire more ornaments I will probably acquire another box as well.
