Customer Review: Great Rack

The shoe rack is great. Perfect for inside the back door. Narrow enough to slide out of the way. Not super heavy duty but with only adults in the house, I don't anticipate a problem. Very easy to assemble. No tools required. After using this rack for a while, my opinion has changed. Most of my shoes are casual with little or no heel. As soon as you move this rack, all the shoes slide off into a pile on the floor. I'm going to try those adhesive sandpaper strips you use on stair treads but if that doesn't keep the shoes from sliding off, this is not working for me.
Packaging was ridiculous! The box this rack was in was no more than 2" deep. The box it was shipped in was at least 12" square with yards and yards of brown paper packing inside. The packing pretty much filled my outdoor trash bin. I know Amazon wants items to arrive intact but this is a metal item. The amount of packaging was pure overkill.
