Customer Review: Warning there are different sizes in the 9000's but look alike.

I was searching for information and best prices on the Winix 9000 when at first I noticed the Ultimate sets of replacement filters came in 2 different sizes Small and what normal? It's not real clear and as a consumer one feels this is done on purpose at worse but then again sometimes the manufacturers don't realize they are confusing the customer but the sellers almost always do. So later I ran into a review on their 5300 model replacement filters and someone noted that they bought the Ultimate 9000 pack because it is ranked as fitting the 5300 too. Only problem is what they bought was too big and they had to trim all the filters down to squish inside their unit...so it's on average 20 dollars difference in the Ultimate 9000 SMALL filter pack verses the larger set? No I am not confusing the carbon filter pack made for the 5300 here.or It certainly is not being disclosed clearly both on the filters or here with this unit. But it explains the up to 100 dollar differences you are seeing between the units as well as the difference in weight and size in measurement of inches on the 9000's. Yet they all look pretty much the same and the description is almost identical.....not helpful. Because of this I am going back to study the 5300 systems out closer and see if there are different sizes of those units too. I think Winix or its sellers are making it very confusing when they really don't need to do that. Some people might want the smaller sized units for good reason. And ultimately someone is going to purchase a second only to find it's much smaller or larger & takes a different set of filters after being mislead by pictures that look like the same & the hype being similar. So I'm giving it 2 stars here today as it gets that because this one included the S behind the number. But it didn't explain what that means. Also these units have replacement filter packages while another model I have you can't find replacement filters for them.
