When I received this product, I was expecting an easy and straightforward assembly. In the package, there were no screws, no instructions, and some of the bars were curved; two needed to be glued and 8 needed to be screwed in. I went to my hardware store, and was told that the holes could not take screws because they were not threaded (indeed). And they were too large to take nails. So we had to thread them to fix 4 of the bars; and glue the last two. All together, it took time and energy, it added to costs, and I would not buy this again, even though the result is satisfactory.Customer Review: Terrible!

My husband and I ordered this for his mother as a Christmas gift. We received it a few days before, and on Christmas Eve tried to put it together so that we could put a bow on it and give it to her the following morning. Three of the holes to attach the rods through weren't drilled through all the way in the frame, and when we started to attach the rods to the top, the screw split the rod down the middle before it was even close to being tight. This is poorly made and a horrible disappointment as we won't have a gift for my MIL on Christmas. We'll be sending it back for sure!Customer Review: Great look, easy assemby

Prior to purchasing this quilt rack, I owned a black metal rack that just didn't hold up. I was hoping to find a short (had to fit beneath a window), sturdy quilt holder and this is it. This is a solid wood rack with only a few parts to assemble. It took only minutes to put together with an allen wrench. One recommendation - use wood glue at the end of each rod for stability. Also, use a touch of glue on the little wooden ends that cover the screws as they like to pop out. No complaints though. Very nice.Customer Review: I like this quilt rack

I was looking for a quilt rack that I could "store/display" more than one blankets on. This one seemed to fit the bill for my price range. I was a little worried about the sturdiness and the amount of weight it would hold. When I received the product, I found that it was easy to put together and was much sturdier than I anticipated. My blankets display nicely and the somewhat compact size is perfect for the area I have placed it.
I would buy more products from the "Winsome Wood" collection.

I purchased the Winsome Wood Quilt Rack fro Amazon.Com.
This is probably a decent but not a great deal. I was disappointed to find a few nicks and dents...not big ones, but wood was not perfect. The finish was very good in color and coverage, and once together it is strudy enough to hold the weight of my quilts. So, for my needs it was adequate, but not superior. I would buy this product again.
